I didn’t set out to become a mental performance coach.
I became one because I lived it.
I’m a mom.
I’m a former athlete.
And I’ve sat in the stands, in the car, and at the kitchen table watching a talented, driven daughter struggle with pressure, self-doubt, and the weight of expectations she never asked for.
I know what it feels like to watch your daughter work so hard, care so deeply, and still walk onto the field or court carrying anxiety instead of confidence.
I know the knot in your stomach on game day.
The silent car rides after tough performances.
The moments when you want to say the right thing but fear making it worse.
This is not a talent problem.
It’s a mental performance problem.
Girls experience pressure differently. They internalize mistakes. They replay errors. They tie performance to self-worth. And too often, they believe that struggling means something is wrong with them.
I watched that happen up close. And I realized something powerful my daughter didn’t need more coaching.
She needed tools. She needed someone to teach her how to work with her mind instead of fighting it.
And honestly
So did I.
YEP was born from that place.
Not from theory.
Not from motivation quotes.
But from real moments. Real tears. Real conversations. Real trial and error.
I went all in on learning how the brain works under pressure, how emotions drive performance, and how simple, repeatable mental skills can change everything when they’re taught the right way. I became certified, trained, and obsessed with turning complex mindset science into tools athletes can actually use in real time.
What I created with YEP is the system I wish we had sooner.
A way for female athletes to stop spiraling after mistakes.
A way for parents to know what to say and how to show up.
A way to bring confidence, calm, and joy back into sports.
YEP isn’t about fixing your daughter.
She’s not broken.
It’s about giving her the skills to trust herself, bounce back, and play freely again.
And it’s about helping you become her safe place, her steady voice, and her biggest supporter without feeling helpless or unsure.
If you’re here, chances are you love your athlete deeply and just want her to believe in herself the way you already do.
I see you.
I’ve been you.
And I built YEP for you.
You don’t have to navigate this alone anymore.

At YEP - Your Elevated Performance, our mission is rooted in lived experience. I created YEP because of my daughter Ella and my own journey as a parent who struggled to know how to help without causing more pressure. Watching her confidence falter pushed me to learn, grow, and change how I showed up, both for her and for myself.
Through my certification with the Positive Mindset Coach Academy, I learned how to rewire my brain, understand the mental side of performance, and build confidence from the inside out. I went through the same process I now guide parents and female athletes through today.
Our mission is to help female athletes build unshakable confidence, manage pressure, recover quickly from mistakes, and love their sport again. We support parents by giving them practical tools and language so they can become a steady, supportive presence for their daughters. By combining proven mental performance training with empathy and real life experience, YEP - Your Elevated Performance exists to help athletes and families grow stronger, more confident, and more connected both in sport and beyond.

My daughter Ella is my why. Watching her struggle with teammates, coaches, and her own confidence was incredibly hard. I wanted to help her so badly. I tried giving advice, asking questions, motivating her, and stepping in when I thought she needed support. Nothing worked. In fact, I slowly realized that my good intentions were adding more pressure and making things worse. I was reacting out of fear and love, not understanding, and I did not yet have the tools to support the mental side of her sport.
That realization was painful, but it changed everything. I understood that I had messed it up, not because I was a bad parent, but because no one teaches parents how to help their athletes navigate confidence, pressure, and setbacks. I promised myself I would learn, grow, and do better for Ella, and I did not want any other parent to repeat the same mistakes I made.
That is why I created Your Elevated Performance. The YEP app was built to give female athletes the mental tools I wish I had known about sooner. Tools to manage pressure, recover quickly from mistakes, and build confidence from the inside out. YEP was also created to support parents, helping them understand what their daughter is experiencing and how to show up in a way that builds trust, safety, and belief. I cannot change how I showed up in those early moments with Ella, but I can help other families find a better path forward. That is my why.

I pursued my certification through the Positive Mindset Coach Academy because I was struggling as a parent and questioning myself.

I pursued my certification through the Positive Mindset Coach Academy because I was struggling as a parent and questioning myself.
I felt like I had messed it all up. I was trying to help my daughter through challenges in her sport, but nothing I did seemed to work. The more I tried to fix things, the more overwhelmed we both became. I knew something had to change, and I realized that change had to start with me.
This education helped me rediscover myself. It taught me how to rewire my brain, understand my own thoughts, reactions, and patterns, and learn how mindset truly shapes confidence, behavior, and performance. I went through the same process I now guide parents and athletes through, learning how to slow down, respond with intention, and build belief instead of pressure.
Through the Positive Mindset Coach Academy, I learned proven mental performance tools that help athletes manage pressure, recover quickly from mistakes, and break free from self sabotage. I also learned how parents can show up as a steady, supportive presence that builds trust and confidence.
This training changed how I supported my daughter and how I showed up in my own life. Now, I am paying it forward. I use these tools to help other parents and female athletes so they do not have to struggle or suffer in silence. My goal is to help athletes become confident, resilient, and successful, while truly loving their sport again.
